Sola City Church

Alex is the Lead Pastor of Sola City Church and is responsible for vision, shepherding, preaching, and other responsibilities. He desires to see the church grow into its full stature in Christ, marked by theological clarity, missional fervor, and love.  He loves a good cup of light roast coffee from Papua New Guinea, but any coffee (Except for Starbucks) in a chemex will work. He and his wife Jessy have three children: Ezra Willow, Elisha Paton, and Elias Judson.

Jody Roughton serves as a lay pastor at Sola City Church. His passion is for missions, men's ministry and prayer ministry. Jody has enjoyed a lifelong career in the construction industry. He’s a father of three and grandfather of four.

Jay Cosgrove has served as a lay pastor at Sola City Church since March of 2021. He shares in various roles and responsibilities, but has a primary focus on seeing his local church healthy and flourishing by way of ensuring its ministries are well supported.

Jay’s full time job is as product manager in the tech industry. Outside of raising his two little girls - Sybil and Evelyn - with his wife Danielle, he loves to spend time in his garage wood shop channeling his inner Ron Swanson. 

Sarah loves serving as the Children’s Ministry Director at Sola City Church. Her desire is to see children grow in the knowledge of the Lord and to come alongside parents as they raise their kids up in godliness. She loves spending time with her husband, Felix, and their three children, Gio, Amora and Camilla.

Danielle Cosgrove serves as the director of the worship ministries at Sola City Church. Her heart, gifting and callings are to worship the Lord in both Spirit and Truth with all of her being and to see other do the same. Danielle, and her husband Jay, love to spend time together with their two girls, Sybil and Evelyn.

Jordan London serves as a deacon at Sola City Church.  His focus is the discipleship of men within the church body as well others in the city of Gainesville.  He also devotes care to the pastor seeing that he is healthy and protected.  Jordan loves spending time with his wife, Suzanne as they enjoy God through various outdoor activities.  

Tyler Folsom serves as a deacon at Sola City Church. He loves to care for the membership, as well as the practical needs of the church in any way he can. You'll often find him coming in early and staying late at many services and events to ensure that the church has all that it needs. Him and his wife, Stephanie, love share their table, their home and their creek with anyone they meet.

Ronny Wilson serves Sola City Church as a deacon. He has a laser focus on member care, leads a small group and actively ensures all new visitors are cared for, connected and lead through the church membership process. He and his wife, Casey, love to spend time together as a family with their two sons, Liam and Shepard.
